Of Guinness and...rocks.

After the previous post on spring picnic, there was a couple of days of snow and rain and gloomy weather which kind of weirded everyone out. Did we just jinxed the weather or 2012 is coming too soon?

Anyway, it was all sunshine and love since I got back from Belfast so I guess spring is really really here. Lots of people proclaiming their love for the change of season but I just couldn't be bothered.. I wake up, look out the window, see a sunny day, and then go back to sleep. I've got too much of those back in Malaysia so there's really nothing to be excited about. It's a relief from the snowy and rainy days but that's all I think of it...not obsessed with it or anything.

And, for the first time since I got here, I fell sick. :\ not the occasional headache or dizziness but I feel really really weak right now..pain in various parts of the body + sore throat + flu. I'm running out of nurofen..anyone care to donate some? This is not the right time to fall as plenty of deadlines are drawing closer and closer.

I'm gonna end the post with some photos taken in Belfast. Didn't really get to experience much of the city life since everything was closed due to Easter Holiday and the whole place practically looked like a ghost town. But going to the Antrim coast was the highlight of the trip. No waking up early in the morning to get free breakfast, no rushing from places to places, no fussing over where to dine, basically it was a chillaxing place in an awesome holiday home. Too bad we couldn't stay there for a longer period. Overall it was different from other trips we had and was really refreshing.

First stop - The Belfast City Hall

First brunch at Benedict's - yummy steaks but a tad too pricey.

Camwhoring at the Waterfront :)

Okay I forgot what buildings are these but every place is a setting for the posers in us.

A tour to the Rope Bridge. Of cos I didnt' cross it.

Camwhoring with DSLR. This needs skills and experience.

So we climbed up a hill and the wind was soooo strong we had difficulty standing on two legs...

So this is the famous Giant's Causeway...UNESCO listed. The rocks are all naturally shaped like that.

Yup. Us.

Had the famous Irish Stew. Would've tasted much better if we hadn't been in such a rush.

You cannot say you've been to Ireland without having the famous Guinness.

Grocery shopping before heading to Ballygally.

After an hour or so of train ride, here we are, at the holiday home!

At the backyard of the house. HUGE backyard with a stream flowing beside it :)

More pictures of posers at the backyard.

Everyone got too excited and carried away when shopping for food....

We ended up with toooo much food and had a hard time struggling to finish them all on the last night there. Stressful!

The first of many feasts..4 chickens and a tray of potato dish.

The routine: Wake up - brunch - beer - tv - wine n' strawberries - late lunch - beer - tv - BASICALLY JUST LIE AROUND AND EAT/DRINK LIKE PIGS LA

Went for walks around the coast.
