Summer thus far...
As the title says...
The move from James Blyth Court, our homes for the past nine months to Thomas Campbell Court, our temporary home for the next four months.
Let them pictures tell the story.
After waiting for 4 hours, we got the keys to our new home and started moving in the stuff. And the lucky us got a unit all the way at.....4th floor! The excitement! of moving allllll the stuff up! When I found out, I almost wanted to cry.
It was an exhausting day but we all had fun so it was alright :D After settling down in the new home, it was time for dinner. Everyone was so tired but we did not want to waste the night..so we headed over to a friend's house for some drinks...you would think that was the end to our night.. But we are architecture students, and that makes us super humans, with the amazing ability of fighting off sleep for unimaginable amount of time.
Becos the older Peacock thinks that learning to save human lives from drowning is more important than having picnic, we decided to bring forward our BBQ picnic from Monday to the next day, ie Sunday. So after the party, at 1.30am, we walked all the way to Tesco to buy the ingredients and food needed for the picnic. And then we went home. and slept. while the older Peacock marinated the food. and made chocolate bananas.
The next day. Picnic!
Weather forecast was unfortunately accurate - it was cloudy. But that didn't stop us from having a great time at the Ayr beach!
There were more photos of the picnic but my friend was too lazy/busy to upload. And I'm too tired to continue anyways. 3.40am now, gotta wake up at 6am to catch a train and flight to Sweden.
Gonna have some authentic swedish meatballs!
xoxo
